Weddings - Table Plans

A table plan is a seating diagram. At wedding banquets, the bridal party and their guests usually sit in pre-arranged groups of relatives and friends, each group being seated at a different table. A large table plan is usually displayed throughout the banquet to help each guest to find his or her particular table and to tell them who else is among the party at their table.

Table plans are thus a highly useful and effective addition to the big day! They can also be designed with decorative surrounds, or styled to match other wedding stationery such as table cards, placenames and menu lettering. Every table plan I create tends to be different according to a couple's requirements.

Once completed, any last-minute seating additions that sometimes arise can be easily dealt with by adding any extra names required. And unlike printing establishments, I am available for further consultation seven days a week - I regard it as part of my commission to help a couple's big day to succeed.

Wedding stationery and table plans can also be designed to incorporate particular themes - an increasingly popular trend. A page about latest works includes details of a 2003 commission for a table plan with a "Knights and Dragons" theme.

Ultimately a handwritten and decorated table plan can also make an extra special wedding souvenir - several of my clients have framed and hung their table plans in the hallways of their new homes!
