(jointly with artist Courney Davies)
in Bridport Tourist Information Centre foyer, Town Hall, Bucky Doo Square, BRIDPORT, Dorset
Open daily (except Sunday) during open hours. As well as the exhibits on display, Courney or myself will also
be there on certain days demonstrating the creative process etc. Check again soon for further details tbc,

"CELTIC ILLUMINATION" ONE DAY COURSES
at 66 Crock Lane, Bothenhampton, BRIDPORT, Dorset DT6 4DF
Cost: £35 per course incl. materials and piece-frame.
Come to my studio for the day and learn how to transfer a Celtic illuminated letter and how
to paint and embellish. Also useful for anyone who missed my last day class or who would
like to return and paint another letter.All course materials and frame for your finished piece
are included in the cost of £35 per person (£10 deposit required in advance to secure a place).
Refreshments will be provided throughout day (but please bring your own packed lunch).

AUGUST GALLERY EXHIBITION
at Fuggles Art Gallery, Mangerton Mill, Nr. BRIDPORT, Dorset DT6 3SG
My second exhibition at this excellent gallery. Each month the Fuggles Gallery features a different
guest artist (and sometimes more than one), and their website has a page on
my earlier 2011 exhibition there.
The gallery is at Mangerton Mill
(5 miles north of Bridport), a great "arts & crafts" centre set in a peaceful rural
valley on the river Manger. The centre has a 17th century working water mill and a Museum of Rural Bygones,
trout fishing and a riverside walk, as well as the
Fuggles Art Gallery and local crafts studios
(where a framer, a woodturner and several other artists work and sell wares).
Also a tea room for light lunches, cream teas and homemade fare.

Design & Calligraphy at the ROYAL CONNECTIONS EXHIBITION
at RHS Garden Rosemoor, GREAT TORRINGTON, N.Devon EX38 8PH.
Cost: Normal Garden Admission
Held on two days as part of a Royal Connections Exhibition (20 July to 26 August) at Rosemoor.
The RHS Lindley Library holds a unique collection of 38 illuminated royal signatures,
the earliest dating back to 1816. Each piece, painted largely in watercolour on vellum, is
decorated with floral borders, and royal and personal motifs relevant to the individual’s life.
British monarchs and royalty from overseas were invited to become Honorary Members,
Fellows or Patrons of the Royal Horticultural Society. Selected signatures will be featured
in an interpretative display celebrating the Society’s long association with the Royal Family.

I shall be holding two one-day demonstrations at the exhibition, on Monday 29th and Tuesday 30th July.
